to the church (for church regulars)
Regular and one-off donations
The Parish Giving Scheme allows you to set-up 'Regular Giving' or a 'One-off Gift' very easily online. Click the 'Give now' button then choose the type of donation you'd like to make.
Cash can still be given at a service if you wish, but don’t dread the plate coming round - if you can support the work of the church great, but if not you’re of course still welcome.
St. Andrew's - the building
St. Andrew’s church boasts some extraordinary features, including its wonderful clock, crooked steeple and hand-painted organ pipes. The porch has an excellent display board giving a history of some of the features, and a comprehensive guide book is available to buy from inside the building.
‘Jack Spratt’s clock’ created to mark the coronation of King George V is worth the visit alone, and combined with the church’s other features, plus the local scenery, it is worth setting aside time for an extended visit.
