A Prayer from the Church of England on hearing the sad news of the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

God of our lives,
we give thanks for the life of Prince Philip,
for his love of our country,
and for his devotion to duty.
We entrust him now to your love and mercy,
through our Redeemer Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Our loving thoughts and prayers are with Her Majesty the Queen and all the
Royal Family at this sad time of loss for them.

In normal times, all 16 Churches in the Vale of Pewsey Team would be open
for prayer with the opportunity to sign a book of condolences. We can sign a book of condolences online, we can go and pray in church or in the quiet of our own hearts, thanking God for Prince Philip’s long life of loyal service
to the nation and the Commonwealth and above all, for his rock-like support for the Queen.
